Please Note: 84th NEHA Annual Education Conference Cancelled

23 Apr 2020 13:01 | John Masters

We have received official confirmation that the NEHA board of directors has, after careful deliberation centered on COVID-19, made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the 84th Annual Educational Conference (AEC) & Exhibition scheduled for July 13–16 in New York City. In the meantime, be sure to mark your calendar for the 2021 AEC in beautiful Spokane, Washington, July 12-15, 2021.

For your information:

  • Registration: All 2020 AEC conference registrations, preconference workshop registrations, and special event registrations will automatically be refunded. Full registration refunds will be made based on when NEHA received the most recent payment. Once your registration cancellation is processed, you will receive confirmation via e-mail. You do not need to contact NEHA to initiate the refund process.
  • Hotel and Travel: Please cancel any personal arrangements you have made, such as travel and housing reservations at the Sheraton New York Times Square or any secondary hotel. If you booked the Sheraton New York Times Square through the Passkey, please visit the website and choose "Manage Existing Reservations" to cancel your reservation.
  • Professional Credentials: NEHA is working on a plan for maintaining professional credentials and continuing education. Details will be announced upon finalization. Additionally, free access to NEHA E-learning is being made available to all environmental health professionals regardless of membership status until June 30, 2020, to earn your CE contact hours.
